Auditions & Casting
The Winter Workshop is open to students in 3rd-8th grade. All students who register for the show will be cast! We encourage all students to audition because it is a great learning experience in a no-pressure atmosphere, but it is not required unless you would like a featured role! The auditions help us make sure students are cast in the roles that will help them shine the most. If you choose not to audition, we will see you at the first rehearsal! We will provide all materials on a Google Site, which you will have access to following the info session.
Audition Date: Sunday, October 25th
at Strath Haven Middle School
Session 1: 6th-8th graders at 12:30pm
Session 2: 3rd-5th graders at 2:30pm
Students will audition in small groups. Please arrive at the the start of the session. Everyone will be seen in the order they arrive.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place on Saturdays from 9am-1pm and Sundays from 12:30pm-4:30pm. Students will not be called to every rehearsal, and will not always be called to the whole rehearsal. Rehearsal schedules are sent out two weeks at a time. We do our best to accommodate conflicts that we know about in advance, so please fill out your conflict calendar carefully.
All rehearsals will take place at Swarthmore-Rutledge School.
